Peer Review Policy
Independent double-blind scholarly evaluation
Review Model
Research articles are evaluated through double-blind peer review by at least two independent external reviewers selected on the basis of relevant scholarly expertise.
Reviewer Independence and Conflicts of Interest
Reviewers must disclose any financial, professional, institutional, personal, academic, or other relationship that could reasonably affect their impartiality. A reviewer who has a material conflict of interest must decline the invitation to review.
Review reports and unpublished manuscripts are confidential and may not be shared or used for personal advantage.
Submissions by Editors and Board Members
Manuscripts authored or co-authored by the Editor-in-Chief, an Associate Editor, Advisory Board member, Editorial Board member, or another person involved in the journal’s editorial governance are subject to the same editorial and peer-review standards as all other manuscripts.
The author concerned has no role in selecting reviewers, accessing reviewer identities, administering peer review, or making the editorial decision. Such submissions are assigned to an independent, unconflicted editor and evaluated by at least two independent external reviewers.
