Complaints & Appeals
Fair, independent handling of complaints and editorial appeals
Complaints and Appeals Policy
Authors, reviewers, readers, and other interested persons may submit complaints concerning the journal’s editorial process, publication ethics, published content, or conduct of journal personnel to the JurisPolitica editorial office.
Editorial Appeals
Appeals against editorial decisions must identify the manuscript concerned and clearly explain the specific procedural, factual, or scholarly grounds on which reconsideration is requested.
An appeal is evaluated by an editor or senior editorial/advisory member who was not materially involved in the original decision and who has no conflict of interest in the matter.
Where a complaint or appeal concerns the Editor-in-Chief, responsibility is transferred to an appropriate unconflicted senior member of the journal’s editorial or advisory structure.
Appeals are intended to address significant procedural irregularities, factual errors, overlooked evidence, or matters affecting fairness. Mere disagreement with reviewers’ academic judgment does not by itself constitute grounds for reversal.
