Corrections, Retractions and Expressions of Concern
JurisPolitica is committed to preserving the accuracy and integrity of the scholarly record.
Corrections
Corrections may be issued when an error is identified after publication that requires formal amendment but does not invalidate the article’s principal findings or arguments.
Retractions
Retractions may be considered where reliable evidence demonstrates serious problems such as fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, duplicate publication, unethical research, serious legal concerns, or errors that substantially invalidate the article’s findings or conclusions.
Expressions of Concern
An Expression of Concern may be published where serious concerns exist but an investigation remains incomplete or the available evidence is inconclusive.
Correction, retraction, and expression-of-concern notices are clearly identified and permanently linked to the affected article. The scholarly record is not silently altered or removed except where removal is legally required or necessary to address serious privacy, safety, or legal concerns.
