Vol 1 - Inaugural Issue - 2025

JurisPolitica – Volume 1, Inaugural Issue (2025) brings together seven peer-reviewed scholarly articles examining the intersection of law, politics, technology, human rights, and global governance. The issue explores the ethical governance of artificial intelligence in journalism through the principles of Bias, Accuracy, Privacy, and Transparency (BAPT), the legal challenges of facial recognition technologies, and the transformation of political power in the age of algorithms. It also analyzes the future of civil liability for AI systems following developments in European law, the recognition of foreign-trained professionals under Canadian human rights principles, and judicial fee exemptions and refunds. Concluding with a comprehensive legal and geopolitical study of starvation as a weapon of war, this inaugural edition offers a multidisciplinary perspective on some of the most pressing legal and political challenges of the digital era. It reflects JurisPolitica's commitment to rigorous academic research, comparative legal analysis, multilingual scholarship, and meaningful contributions to international legal and political discourse.
