General Publication Rules
JurisPolitica is dedicated to publishing innovative and original scholarship in the fields of law and political sciences. To maintain the highest standard of academic excellence, authors are expected to adhere to the following guidelines:
Originality and Prior Publication
- Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by any other journal. Once published in this journal, the author may not submit or republish the article in any other journal.
- Research derived from PhD or master's theses or previously published books may be considered only if it offers significant new insights or value, subject to prior approval by the Editorial Board.
Scope and Focus
- Submissions should address contemporary, original, and innovative topics, concentrating directly on the core research questions without extensive theoretical background. Any necessary context should be supported by appropriate references to existing literature.
- Authors are encouraged to adopt a critical perspective, offering in-depth analysis of their topics and exploring the associated challenges and implications.
Recommendations and Proposals
Research should include actionable recommendations and proposals that address the identified issues or suggest avenues for future research.
Word Count and Formatting
Each manuscript accepted for publication must be formatted according to the template below before being processed. At this stage, the manuscript will be considered the definitive version of the article. Authors must ensure that the final manuscript adheres strictly to the following format:
- Word Count: Submissions must not exceed 8,000 words. Manuscripts should be in Times New Roman, size 12, single-spaced for the main text, and size 10, single-spaced for footnotes.
- Abstract and Keywords: Each manuscript must include an abstract of no more than 250 words, summarizing the research objectives, methodology, key findings, conclusions, and recommendations. Include up to five relevant keywords immediately following the abstract (italicized).

- Margins: Top and Bottom = 1”; Left and Right = 1.25”
- Gutter = 0; Gutter Position = Left
- Orientation = Portrait; Paper Size = A4
- Alignment = Justified; Left and Right Indentation = 0
- Spacing Before and After = 0
- Line Spacing = Single
- Second-Level Heading (e.g., 1.1): Indent the second-level heading 1.27 cm from the left margin. The heading should be bold, aligned with the paragraph indentation level that begins at 1.27 cm, and positioned on its own line for clear structural hierarchy.
- Third-Level Heading (e.g., 1.1.1): Indent the third-level heading 2.54 cm from the left margin. This places it one additional tab stop (1.27 cm) to the right of the second-level heading. The heading should also be bold and placed on a separate line.
- Indent each new paragraph by 1.27 cm for clear and consistent formatting.

- One line after the title: Author’s name (12 pt, Times New Roman, centered)
- Next line: Author’s affiliation (including country) (12 pt, Times New Roman, centered)
- Two lines after the final author details: Write “Abstract” in 14 pt, Times New Roman, bold, centered
- Main Headings: 12 pt, Times New Roman, bold, left-aligned, Spacing After = Auto
- Secondary Headings: 12 pt, Times New Roman, bold, left-aligned, Spacing After = Auto
- Manuscript Start: Begin the main text on a new page after the abstract and keywords.

Author Responsibilities: Authors are responsible for preparing manuscripts in clear, scholarly English, free of spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors. Neither the editor nor the publisher will correct such errors. Authors should carefully check for:
- Dangling modifiers
- Misplaced modifiers
- Unclear antecedents
- Incorrect or inconsistent abbreviations
- Accuracy of all in-text citations and references
- Consistency: Ensure consistency in abbreviations, terminology, and citation style throughout the manuscript.
- Submission of Final Version: Once accepted, the final version of the manuscript must be submitted as an attached file via email.
References
- Citations must be current and diverse, drawing on relevant local, international, and foreign sources. All references should be accurately and thoroughly documented.

Standard Measurement:
- Apply a 0.5-inch (1.27 cm) hanging indent to every reference entry.
- This measurement should be uniform throughout the entire bibliography.
Publication Exclusivity
Once a manuscript is accepted for publication in JurisPolitica, it may not be published elsewhere without written permission from the Editorial Board.
Submission Requirements
- Manuscripts must be submitted electronically in both PDF and Word formats, ensuring all versions are meticulously proofread before submission.
- Original submissions will not be returned after approval by the Editorial Board.
Author Biography
- Academic background and research interest: Authors should outline their academic qualifications, degrees obtained, and relevant research expertise. This should highlight their primary areas of research interest and any recent projects or publications that relate to the submitted work.
- Institutional Affiliations: To ensure transparency and maintain academic standards, authors must include detailed information on their professional affiliations for the past two years. This should cover the full names of the universities or independent research institutions where the authors have been employed or associated with during this period.
- Contact Information: Authors are encouraged to provide their preferred contact details, which may include either an email address or a postal address. This enables effective communication between readers and authors, fostering an open dialogue and collaborative opportunities within the scholarly community.
Copyright
The author retains the copyright and has the right to download the article and use it freely, including sharing it on academic platforms.
Ethical Rules
All submissions must adhere to strict academic integrity standards. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited, and the similarity index must not exceed 10%, excluding references and standard methodological expressions.
